Consolidate e-Detailers for different products and brands into a single portfolio e-Detailer to align with global market trends. With a specifically designed content item, you can:

Streamline content management. A single portfolio e-Detailer covers several brands or products, reducing the need to create and maintain separate presentations. This improves updates and approvals in Veeva Vault PromoMats, as content changes apply across the entire portfolio.
Gain regulatory and compliance advantages. The portfolio e-Detailer published to Veeva Vault PromoMats ensures medical and legal compliance across several brands or products, reducing the risk of outdated or inconsistent information.
Personalize and optimize interactions with the target audience. Dynamically switch between different products within the portfolio e-Detailer, tailoring discussions to the audience interests. A single content item eliminates the need to exit one e-Detailer and open another, saving time during meetings.
Enhance analytics and insights. Get consolidated data on audience engagement across several brands, providing deeper insights into content performance. This helps refine your messaging based on how different products are received within the same presentation.
Optimize cost and resource efficiency. A single portfolio e-Detailer reduces development, review, and maintenance costs. Additionally, less effort is required for content localization and translation, especially when managing global campaigns.

The portfolio e-Detailer is available on demand. Contact the administrator for details.

The general portfolio e-Detailers workflow includes their creation/upload, editing, further export, publishing to target systems. Let's take a closer look at these processes.

Creation

You can add a new portfolio e-Detailer to Library in the following ways:

Create from scratch with the e-Detailer → Portfolio → Create new option from the add new menu.

In the Create new popup that appears, fill in the Name, Country, and Language metadata fields for the portfolio presentation. The e-Detailer section of the popup contains the nested e-Detailer metadata. Once you select the template, its metadata is automatically populated in the e-Detailer section.

The set of metadata fields in the e-Detailer section depends on the selected template.

When creating the portfolio from scratch, only one nested e-Detailer is added to the content item. It's set as an opening e-Detailer by default.

Combine up to 10 available e-Detailers from Library with the e-Detailer → Portfolio → Merge existing option in the add new menu.

In the Merge into portfolio e-Detailer popup, you can't select e-Detailers from both the My library and Shared with me spaces.

In the popup, the Brand metadata field is automatically populated with values inherited from the e-Detailers selected for merging.

In the merge-existing scenario, the first e-Detailer selected in the popup is automatically set as the opening e-Detailer.

When e-Detailers are combined into a portfolio e-Detailer, nested e-Detailers automatically inherit country and language metadata.

During the merge, errors may occur in the following cases:

All selected e-Detailers have issues
The progress tracker in the bottom-right corner informs you that the portfolio e-Detailer can't be created. Try selecting different e-Detailers.
Some e-Detailers have issues
A warning appears at the top of Library. Click VIEW ERROR REPORT to see which e-Detailers failed and why.

You can contact eWizard Support for assistance from the Error report popup that appears. For this:
1. Copy the error details with the button in the upper-right corner.
2. Click CONTACT SUPPORT.
  An email draft opens in your default email client.
3. Paste the error details into the email draft. Add any required information, then send the email.
Upload an existing ZIP archive with the portfolio e-Detailer from your device.

The newly added portfolio e-Detailer appears in My library. To view all your content items of this type, use the Portfolio e-Detailer option in the FILTERS menu located on the top panel.

Editing

eWizard Editor for portfolio e-Detailers gives you comprehensive control over your multi-presentation content for maximum impact. Apart from managing the portfolio e-Detailer structure, you can customize each nested e-Detailer as follows:

Separately set the layouts with predefined blocks.
Add components and modify their properties.
Assign actions to e-Detailer components.
Adjust the styling and settings of nested e-Detailers.

When the portfolio e-Detailer contains modules, you can manage module combinations to group content according to business rules and work with content module rulesets from Veeva Vault PromoMats.

Changes in the portfolio don't affect source e-Detailers, and updates you make to source e-Detailers don't impact the portfolio.

To open the portfolio e-Detailer in Editor, click on its card in Library.

The portfolio e-Detailer opens in the EDIT mode with the nested e-Detailer set as the opening one in a new browser tab. Editor consists of the following areas:

[1] The quick access toolbar to switch between the Editor modes (EDIT, PREVIEW, STRUCTURE, and TRANSLATE) and manage the portfolio e-Detailer as follows:

Control	Action
`+ ADD NEW`	Add slides and chapters to a nested e-Detailer or reuse slides from other e-Detailers of the same brand.
`Master template`	Apply the changes you make on one slide to the whole nested e-Detailer.
`Undo`	Revert the most recent action or change made.
`Redo`	Reapply the action or change that was previously undone.
`SAVE`	Apply all the changes you made in the portfolio e-Detailer.
`AI generator`	Generate AI-driven text variants for text-based components.
`Comments`	Launch the commenting panel.
`More options`	Unfold the list of more options available for the portfolio e-Detailer.

[3] The nested e-Detailer layout, where you can arrange its various elements to match your editing requirements. Apply the component multiselect to copy and paste several components within the same nested e-Detailer layout.

[4] The customization panel to tune nested e-Detailer elements selected on the layout.

/	Navigate between the nested e-Detailer slides and subslides.
	View the target device and its resolution specified for the portfolio e-Detailer.
X-/Y-axis values	Display the position of the selected component upper-left corner and the same corner of the layout.
	Scale the layout through its zooming in/out. Or you can select `Adaptive view`, `Full size`, `Fit to screen`, `Fit to width` from the zoom list.

Structuring

You can add up to 10 nested e-Detailers to a portfolio e-Detailer after its creation. For this:

Open the portfolio e-Detailer in the STRUCTURE mode.
Click + ADD E-DETAILER on the quick access toolbar.
Select one of the following options:
- Create new—add a new nested e-Detailer based on a template.
- Add existing—add available e-Detailers from My library.

To create a new nested e-Detailer within the portfolio e-Detailer:

In the Create new popup, select a template.
Template metadata autofills matching fields. Manually fill in any remaining fields.
In the popup, you can't enter the nested e-Detailer name. The added nested e-Detailer inherits its name from the selected template. You can rename it on the STRUCTURE tab.

2. Click Create.

The progress bar appears and advances as the nested e-Detailer is added to the portfolio e-Detailer.

3. Click GO TO STRUCTURE.

The newly created nested e-Detailer opens on the STRUCTURE tab. It's added to the end of the portfolio e-Detailer structure.

The newly created nested e-Detailer doesn't appear in Library.

To add existing e-Detailers to the portfolio e-Detailer:

In the Add existing e-Detailer popup, select the required e-Detailers from My library.
The Brand metadata field is automatically populated with the brands of the selected e-Detailers.
Click ADD.
The progress bar appears and advances as the nested e-Detailers are added to the portfolio e-Detailer.
Click GO TO STRUCTURE.
The first nested e-Detailer you select in the Add existing e-Detailer popup opens on the STRUCTURE tab.

Newly added e-Detailers appear after the existing ones, in the order they were selected—the earliest selected appears first.

If any selected e-Detailer can't be added, a warning about the issues appears below the progress bar.

Click OPEN REPORT to view issue details for each failed e-Detailer.

In the Error report popup, you can copy and email the error details to eWizard Support for assistance.

Sharing

eWizard allows you to share your portfolio e-Detailers with the collaborators. You can do this in the following ways:

Share link to generate the link to the portfolio e-Detailer and configure sharing settings.
Assign users to share your portfolio e-Detailer with specific users according to the defined roles.

Export

Once your portfolio e-Detailer is ready for the target usage, you can launch its export with the more options menu.

The following export options are available for portfolio e-Detailers:

For Veeva Vault. The generated ZIP archive of your portfolio e-Detailer contains the CSV file outlining the portfolio structure, separate ZIP archives for each slide from nested e-Detailers, and the ZIP archive for shared resources.
As a PDF file. The resulting PDF file contains all slides from nested e-Detailers of your portfolio e-Detailer.

Upon successful export, download the resulting file from the email notification you receive and use it as intended.

Publishing

The eWizard Publish service allows you to submit your prepared portfolio e-Detailer to a target system with minimum manual operations. As a result, your portfolio e-Detailer is converted to the necessary build, then it's placed to the selected target system under your account according to the metadata specified during the publication process.

The portfolio e-Detailer publishing is initiated with the Publish option from its more menu. Select the target system and follow the publication steps.

After publication, the portfolio e-Detailer appears in Veeva Vault PromoMats in the following formats:

A PDF document containing slides and popups from all nested e-Detailers.
An interactive portfolio-related document with linked slide-related documents from all nested e-Detailers.
