You can share links to your items with the required target users. Once followed the link, the users open the shared items in Viewer. If authorized, they can use available options on the top panel and on the bottom bar according to their role, permissions, and item type.

eWizard items shared with the link are available for viewing only. While Viewer opens for any user who follows the share link to the item, commenting and other top panel options are available only to the users authorized in eWizard.

To generate the share link to the item:

  1. Unfold its more options in My library.

  2. Select Share β†’ Share link.

  3. In the pop-up that appears, you can see the generated direct link to your item.

  4. Click COPY & SHARE to copy the generated link to the clipboard.

Now, you can pass it to the target user.

To restrict access to the item, select the following checkboxes:

  • Password: enter the password and pass it to the target users along with the share link.

  • Expiration date: specify the date and time when the share link expires.

The link becomes unavailable after its expiration. To restore the link validity:

  3. Unfold more options of the required item version.

  4. Select Edit.

In the Share link pop-up that appears, the fields with the expired values are highlighted in red.

  2. Click COPY & SHARE to apply your changes.

As a result, the new expiration date and time are set.

To email the share link to the target audience:

  1. Enter one or several target user email addresses in the Users field.

  2. Click COPY & SHARE. The email with a link is sent to your target user.

As a result, the target user follows the share link and opens the item in Viewer.

Items shared with the link DON'T appear in the Shared with me Library space.

You can manage the generated share links on the item Details page. For this, use more options of the required link.
