In the STRUCTURE mode, you can add, delete, and manage chapters, slides, and subslides of your e-Detailer and its brief, as well as handle nested e-Detailers in the portfolio.

The template with subslides is available on demand. Contact the administrator to get the necessary template.

To access structure editing options, open your e-Detailer in Editor. Click STRUCTURE on the Editor quick access toolbar.

You're redirected to the Editor STRUCTURE mode.

It contains the following areas:

[1] The Editor quick access toolbar. You can also add slides and chapters here with the + ADD NEW button.

[2] The e-Detailer main area with slides and subslides organized in chapters.

The opening slides and nested e-Detailers are marked with .

Nested e-Detailer

In the STRUCTURE mode, the portfolio e-Detailer displays the nested e-Detailer for which you initially have the EDIT mode open.

Here, you can do the following:

Add nested e-Detailers to the portfolio e-Detailer. For this, click + ADD E-DETAILER [1] on the quick access toolbar and select one of the following options:
- Create new—add a new nested e-Detailer based on a template.
- Add existing—add available e-Detailers from My library.
View the structure of any nested e-Detailer or the entire portfolio. For this, select the required value from the e-Detailer dropdown list [2].
Collapse or expand the list of nested e-Detailers and chapters with the button [3].
Add the required structural elements to nested e-Detailers:
- Chapter. For this, click the button on the right of the nested e-Detailer name [4]. Alternatively, you can add chapters from the add new menu in the EDIT and TRANSLATE modes.
- Blank or pre-designed slide. For this, click the Add slide placeholder and select the required option from the menu [5]. Alternatively, select the required option from the add new menu in the EDIT and TRANSLATE modes.
Access the nested e-Detailer and chapter functionality with the button on the respective structural element row [6]. The following more options are available for nested e-Detailers or chapters:

Control	Action	Notes
	Mark the chapter as hidden.
	Copy the chapter.
	Launch the `Rename` popup for the nested e-Detailer or chapter.
	Set the nested e-Detailer as opening.
	Reorder nested e-Detailers or chapters.	In the popup that appears, drag the structural element to a different position in the list.
	Delete the nested e-Detailer or chapter.	Nested e-Detailers are deleted permanently. - When deleting a nested e-Detailer, the opening one is displayed automatically. - If the opening nested e-Detailer is deleted, the first one in the dropdown list is set as the new opening e-Detailer. - If only one nested e-Detailer remains in the dropdown list, the option is locked.

Structural changes you make to a nested e-Detailer are automatically saved when you switch to another e-Detailer.

When All is selected in the e-Detailer dropdown list, the more options menu for chapters and slides, the Copy button on slide cards, and the slide addition placeholder are locked.

All nested e-Detailers in the portfolio are displayed in the order they were added, with the earliest appearing first. If nested e-Detailers are added after the portfolio e-Detailer is created, they appear after the original set of nested e-Detailers.

Chapter

To add a chapter to your e-Detailer:

Click + ADD NEW on the Editor quick access toolbar and select Chapter.
The Enter chapter name pop-up appears.
Enter the new chapter name or leave the default one and click ADD.

You can access the chapter functionality with the more menu

button on each chapter row. The following chapter more options are available:

	Delete the chapter

Slide

You can add blank or already designed slides to the e-Detailer you're editing in one of the following ways:

Click the + ADD NEW button and select the required option from the menu.

Option	Action	Notes
Blank slide	Add a black slide to the specified chapter of the e-Detailer you're editing.	In the `Choose chapter` pop-up that appears, specify the target e-Detailer chapter for the blank slide you're adding.
Slide from template	Add a slide from the e-Detailer you're editing to the required chapter.	In the `Add slide from template` pop-up that appears, you can select up to 10 slides to add to your e-Detailer.
Reuse slide	Add slides from other e-Detailers of the same brand to the required chapter.	In the `Add reused` pop-up, double-click the required e-Detailer and add up to 20 slides to the e-Detailer you're editing. You can also select all chapter slides to reuse in the target e-Detailer with the checkbox to the left of the chapter name. In the upper-right corner of the pop-up, unfold the `CHOOSE CHAPTER` list and select a chapter to add slides. You can't reuse subslides and slides added in the Master template mode.

Click the Add slide placeholder available at the end of each e-Detailer chapter and select the required option from the menu.

You can also add slides and chapters to your e-Detailer/e-Detailer brief on the Navigation tab in the EDIT mode.

Your new slide is added to the e-Detailer and is available for editing and translation.

Each slide features the following options:

Unfold the slide more options to access its functionality.

The more options menu includes the following controls:

	Mark the slide as hidden and skip it when navigating between slides in the Editor PREVIEW mode and in Viewer.
	Set the slide as an opening one
	Move the slide to another chapter
	Activate the `Rename slide` pop-up for slides
	Delete the slide

Reuse slide

With the Reuse slide option, you can add up to 20 slides from e-Detailers stored in My library and Veeva Vault PromoMats to the e-Detailer you're editing.

To make slide reuse available, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

The feature is available in e-Detailers built with the eWizard.js framework version 5 or later. Check the framework version on the e-Detailer Details page.
To reuse hidden slides, your e-Detailer must be initialized with eWizard CLI version 1.0.0 or later. If you can't reuse hidden slides, contact the administrator to rebuild the e-Detailer ZIP archive with the proper CLI version.
The target and source e-Detailers must be of the same brand.
To reuse slides from Veeva Vault PromoMats, source e-Detailers must be published:
- From eWizard to VVPM as PDF for approval.
- To the same VVPM instance you're currently logged into.

To reuse slides from Library and Veeva Vault PromoMats:

In the e-Detailer you're editing, click the + ADD NEW button.
Select Reuse slide from the menu.

Rules and limitations for slide reuse

Subslides and slides added in the Master template mode can't be reused.
Reused slides contain actions, links, references, claims, and footnotes assigned to them in the source e-Detailer.
The following actions are removed from the reused slide:
- Open slide—if the target slide isn't reused.
- Open PDF—in a VVPM PDF document.
The style of the reused slides can differ from the source slides.

LIBRARY

In the Add existing slide popup that appears, select the LIBRARY tab to access slides from e-Detailers stored in My library or any of its folders.

Within this popup, you can:

Unfold the Move to chapter list [1] and select a chapter in the target e-Detailer to add slides to.
Search [2] for an e-Detailer using keywords from its name.
Display e-Detailers in a table view [3].

To reuse slides:

Double-click the e-Detailer.
Select the required slides by clicking their checkboxes.
You can also select all chapter slides to reuse in the target e-Detailer with the checkbox to the left of the chapter name.

You can use the search field to find a slide by entering keywords from its name.
Click ADD.
The slide reuse progress appears as a percentage in the bottom-left corner of the popup.
Reused slides appear in the selected chapter of the e-Detailer you're editing.

VEEVA VAULT

In the Add existing slide popup that appears, select the VEEVA VAULT tab to access slides from e-Detailers published from eWizard to Veeva Vault PromoMats as PDF for approval. For this, log in to Veeva Vault PromoMats, if required.

In the Add existing slide popup, you can:

Unfold the Move to chapter list [1] and select a chapter in the target e-Detailer to add slides to.
Search [2] for an e-Detailer using keywords from its name, document number, or ID.
Use metadata filters [3] to narrow the list of PDF documents by criteria such as language, product, country, and status.
After applying metadata filters, click FILTERS to collapse the panel.

Note: Contact the administrator to configure filtering criteria, prefill of filter fields, locking of prefilled fields, and autofill of the Product field with the brand value assigned to the e-Detailer you're editing.
Display PDF documents in a table view [4].

To reuse slides:

Double-click the PDF document.

In the selected PDF document, slides for reuse are displayed as follows:
- From the latest version of the PDF document related to the e-Detailer in Veeva Vault PromoMats.
- From the latest version of the PDF document linked to the related VVPM interactive document, if the interactive document is in Veeva Vault PromoMats.
  If a different PDF is manually linked to the interactive document, slides are displayed from the manually linked PDF.
  
  Note: Contact the administrator to configure the reuse of slides from the PDF linked to the interactive document.
If the brand values of the source and target e-Detailers differ, slides are not available for selection.

If a PDF document in Veeva Vault PromoMats doesn't relate to any e-Detailer in eWizard, the document appears in the popup without slides available for reuse.
Select the required slides by clicking their checkboxes.
You can also select all chapter slides to reuse in the target e-Detailer with the checkbox to the left of the chapter name.

You can use the search field to find a slide by entering keywords from its name.

3. Click ADD.

The slide reuse progress appears as a percentage in the bottom-left corner of the popup.

Reused slides appear in the selected chapter of the e-Detailer you're editing.

Subslide

To add a subslide to the e-Detailer:

1. Drag a blank or template-based slide from the left sidebar.

2. Place it as a subslide to the left-hand side of the required e-Detailer slide thumbnail. The subslide destination area becomes highlighted with

You can add a subslide to your item on the Navigation tab in the EDIT mode. Unfold the slide more options menu and click Add subslide.

When the subslide is added to the ordered slides area, it's indicated with .

Your new subslide is added to the e-Detailer and is available for editing and translation.

Each subslide features the following options:

Option	Action
	View the subslide.
	Edit the subslide.
	Copy the subslide.

Unfold the subslide more options to access its functionality.

The more options menu includes the following controls:

Control	Action
	Mark the subslide as hidden.
	Activate the `Rename slide` pop-up for the subslide.
	Delete the subslide.
	Set the subslide as the main slide.

If you move a subslide to an empty chapter, the moved subslide becomes a slide.

Hidden structure elements

You can hide chapters, slides, and subslides of your e-Detailer and its brief to distinguish information for various audiences within one presentation. The hidden chapters, slides, and subslides aren't displayed during the e-Detailer demonstration.

To hide the chapter, slide, or subslide, unfold its more options and click Mark as hidden.

When you hide a chapter, all slides and subslides it contains become hidden. Hiding a slide results in hiding its subslides. When you mark the slide or subslide as visible, its parent chapter and slide become visible.

Depending on the e-Detailer template, you can manage hidden slides/subslides in the following way:

Editor:

Customize styling and properties, assign actions and animation to the components of hidden slides/subslides.
Select hidden slides when assigning the Open slide action to the components of visible slides. As a result, you can open hidden slides during the e-Detailer demonstration.
Translate text assets added to hidden slides/subslides.

Viewer:

Open hidden slides from the list on the bottom bar. When navigating between e-Detailer slides with arrows, hidden slides are skipped. Hidden subslides aren't displayed in Viewer.

Export:

Add hidden slides/subslides to the generated PDF or PPTX.

Publisher:

Include hidden slides in the document published to Veeva Vault as PDF/interactive, CT Presenter, and SFDC. Hidden subslides are published only to Veeva Vault as PDF.

If you make a copy of a hidden chapter or slide, the copied chapter/slide becomes visible.
