A module in eWizard is a reusable content item with block layout and assets. You can create a new template-based module, select a predefined block, or build the structure from individual components. Assets can be pulled from Veeva Vault PromoMats or added inline as needed. After the module creation, you can customize, localize it in Editor, and send it to Veeva Vault PromoMats. Then your module is ready for reuse in other eWizard content items.
Create module
You can create a template-based module in eWizard Library and then modify it in eWizard Editor.
To initiate the module creation:
Click
+ ADD NEW
at the upper left of My library.Select
Module
in the list.In the
Create new
popup, select a template.Fill in the metadata fields on the
DETAILS
panel.Click
CREATE
.
Your newly created module appears in My library.
Edit module
To open the module in eWizard Editor, click on its card in My library.
The newly created module has an empty layout. You can add a default block to the module layout from the Blocks
tab and customize each block component manually or upload assets from Veeva Vault PromoMats.
The ModCon 2.0 approach introduces blocks with a grid-based structure, providing a consistent and flexible way to arrange content elements such as text, images, and other assets into grids and grid areas.
You can also pull the ready-to-use content module from Veeva Vault PromoMats. For this:
In eWizard Editor, go to the
Blocks
tab → MODULES.Log in to Veeva Vault account if requested.
You can facilitate the required content module search. For this:
Enter the content module metadata in the search field (for example, Approval Document name and number, Content Module object ID). You can also search for content modules by an exact metadata match of related assets.
Note: Contact your administrator to configure the advanced search and specify which asset metadata fields to consider during the content module search.
Filter content modules by the metadata available on the
FILTERS
panel. Open the panel with thebutton.
Clear the cache with the
button to refresh the list of content modules from Veeva Vault PromoMats.
Drag the selected content module to the layout.
Now, you can save changes applied to the module or continue editing its styling, properties, and components.
Text assets
eWizard Editor supports rich text formatting when pulling texts as individual assets and as a part of content modules from Veeva Vault PromoMats to your modules. As a result, the uploaded text assets preserve the following formatting:
Font style: bold, italic, underline
Font effects: superscript, subscript
Lists: bulleted, numbered
Paragraphs
Hyperlinks
The content item template predefines the font family, size, and color of the text assets.
To replace the whole module, pull another one from the MODULES tab. The module layout is channel-agnostic—it automatically maintains the same layout across all content items.

| - Assets added from Veeva Vault PromoMats without changes - Text assets with the case-insensitive match in Veeva Vault PromoMats |
| - Assets added in Editor that don't exist in Veeva Vault PromoMats - Text assets with no case-insensitive match in Veeva Vault PromoMats |

Text assets
Note: Contact your administrator to configure the case-insensitive match validation.
When case-insensitive matching is activated for text asset validation, the system identifies and links duplicate text assets during publication, even if their letter casing differs, preventing the creation of unnecessary text assets.
After validation, text assets are categorized into the NOT MODIFIED
and NEW
sections with the following messages:
Linking identical claim
—the text asset exactly matches an existing one in Veeva Vault PromoMats, with the same letter case.Linking identical claim but with different letter case
—a matching text asset exists in Veeva Vault PromoMats, but only the letter case differs.
If your module contains claims and reusable texts, you can fill in the
Claim type
,Country
, andProduct
fields for claims. You can't configure the metadata for claims added with content modules from Veeva Vault PromoMats. You can publish your texts as new Veeva Vault assets or update the existing texts in Veeva Vault documents.
