The Veeva Vault PromoMats concept of text asset management makes the module creation and usage more structured and flexible. The Veeva text asset concept refers to the claim and reusable text types.

You can also link claims as reusable texts. Ask your administrator to configure linking.

The reusable text is a meaningful element with its reference, metadata, and life cycle. You can approve the reusable text as an independent element, add it to the layout within/without modules, and track it in content items.

To view all available reusable texts in Veeva Vault PromoMats, go to Claims β†’ CLAIM TYPE β†’ Reusable text.

You can create reusable text in eWizard Editor. For this, add the required text to the module and assign an element type to it.

When publishing the module to Veeva Vault PromoMats as interactive, all the reusable texts that are new to the selected Veeva Vault environment appear on the additional ASSETS step. Here, you can select the reusable texts for the publication and individually assign the required metadata.

After the module publication to Veeva Vault PromoMats, you can find the reusable texts with all assigned metadata, formatting, and links in the Content Module Text Elements section.

You can replace the added reusable texts with those linked to the selected module. To add any reusable text available in Veeva Vault PromoMats, switch off the Content module assets toggle on the FILTERS panel in the Assets popup.

Reusable texts are highlighted in the exported or published PDF document.

Reusable text references

You can add references to reusable texts within your modules. References can be with or without Veeva Vault claims.

If you want to add references with claims using the Claims library from Veeva Vault PromoMats, follow the instructions in the eWizard Editor guide.

To attach references to the module reusable text that's not related to Veeva Vault claims:

  1. Open the References popup with the R button on the Properties tab.

  2. Click ADD FROM VAULT .

You can attach only Veeva Vault references to the module reusable texts.

3. Sign in to your Veeva Vault account and select the required environment.

4. Select a reference document.

On the DETAILS panel, you can view its name, number, subtype, and source. To open the document in Veeva Vault PromoMats, click the preview button on its card.

5. Click ADD.

6. In the References popup that appears, select the checkbox of the added reference and click SAVE.

On the module layout, you can find the following changes:

[1]: The superscript reference indicator appears in the text where you've placed the mouse cursor.

[2]: The REFERENCES component with the selected reference automatically appears at the bottom of the module layout.

[3]: The R button is highlighted on the bottom panel. Use this button to show or hide the REFERENCES component on the layout.

7. Save changes.

You can publish the module with references to Veeva Vault PromoMats as interactive. To view the references linked to the reusable text:

  1. Go to the content module in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  2. Open the source Content Module object.

  3. Select Content Module Text Elements.

  4. Click the Text Asset ID of the required reusable text.

  5. Unfold the References tab.

You can pull this content module to other eWizard items. As a result, the content module references are automatically added to the content item reference list. You can view them in the e-Detailer PREVIEW mode or with the REFERENCES component for emails, landing pages, and messenger ads.
