The Highlight modules option allows you to single out changes applied to the content modules added to your content items from Veeva Vault PromoMats in eWizard Editor. Thus, reviewers can focus on the new or modified information only.

To highlight content modules and their modifications in the resulting PDF:

  • Select the Highlight modules checkbox when exporting the content item or publishing it to Veeva Vault PromoMats as PDF for approval.

  • Switch on the Highlight modules toggle when publishing the content item to eWizard internal storage.

You can find the Highlight modules checkbox on the Publisher PREPARATION step and in the Export pop-up.

By default, you can see the following module modification statuses in the resulting PDF:

Components highlight

After pulling a content module from Veeva Vault PromoMats to your content item, you can edit its assets. In the resulting PDF, find the modified assets highlighted as follows:

  • Newly added or replaced images and video posters appear in red frames in the MODIFIED status. The component has a red highlight with the + NEW status.

  • Duplicated images and video posters appear in orange frames in the MINOR UPDATES status. The component has an orange highlight with the DUPLICATE status. The same status is displayed for images and video posters reused from Veeva Vault PromoMats with the Content module assets toggle switched on.

  • Edited images and video posters appear in orange frames in the MINOR UPDATES status. The component has an orange highlight with the EDITED status.

  • Text assets get:

    • Light green highlight for the added text

    • Light red highlight with strikethrough for the deleted text

Assets within a popup are singled out individually on a separate PDF page.

The popup components with added content modules are highlighted in the resulting PDF according to the following cases:

  • The popup with the uploaded content module added to an empty e-Detailer slide.

It's highlighted as NOT MODIFIED / MODIFIED in the resulting PDF. All content module metadata is displayed in the right sidebar.

  • The popup with the uploaded content module added to the slide module.

On the Tree tab, the slide module [1] comprises popups with their modules [2].

In the resulting PDF, the slide module is highlighted as MODIFIED. The module assets inside the popup are singled out on the separate document page as the slide module modification. In the right sidebar, you can view only the slide module metadata.

  • The popup with the uploaded content module and the slide module added to different content item layers.

The statuses and metadata of all content modules are displayed on separate pages in the resulting PDF.
