Bulk publication automates module creation and update as part of the ModCon 2.0 approach.

When publishing a content item from eWizard to Veeva Vault PromoMats as PDF, you can select which blocks to convert into new content modules, add metadata, and choose whether to create new content modules or update existing ones. Content modules created this way are channel-agnostic and can be used across any content item without block selection.

To start the bulk publication of content item with all its elements—blocks, modules, and assets—perform the common publication steps.

Depending on the content elements created or added in eWizard Editor, your publication flow may contain the following steps:

  • BLOCKS. If your content item contains block-based modules created in eWizard Editor, you can publish them as Content Module objects with Approval Documents to Veeva Vault PromoMats. For this, select the Publish as module checkbox on the BLOCKS step.

Contact your administrator to configure the default state of the Publish as module checkbox.

  • MODULES. Check all content modules pulled from Veeva Vault PromoMats into the content item in eWizard Editor on the MODULES step and use options available according to the editing state.

Contact your administrator to configure which option is selected by default.

  • Link existing content module without any updates applied in eWizard Editor.

  • Publish as new content module to Veeva Vault PromoMats.

A parent–child linkage is created between the original reused content module (parent) and the newly published one (child) in Veeva Vault PromoMats. Find the linkage in the RELATIONSHIPSBased on section of the Approval Document in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • Update existing content module in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • ASSETS. Manage your content item assets and use options dependent on the actions applied on the MODULES step.

You can publish your texts as new Veeva Vault assets or update the existing texts in Veeva Vault documents.

Contact your administrator to configure which option is selected by default.

  • When publishing your text asset as new, select the Inherit linkage checkbox to copy the linkage of the references and anchors from the original claim to the newly created one. References added in eWizard are linked to the claim in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • When updating the existing text, you can enter the Veeva Vault document number or name in the search field. Select the Keep linkage checkbox to merge the references and anchors with already existing claim references and anchors. References added in eWizard are linked to the claim.

After successful bulk publication, the system:

  • Sends content modules to Veeva Vault PromoMats and the eWizard internal storage.

  • Creates necessary claims/reusable texts and links reference documents to claims/reusable texts.

  • Adds an Approval Document to the Content Module object in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • Associates claims, reusable texts, and assets with the Content Module and Approval Document.

  • Generates a PDF of the final material.

  • Links both reused and newly created content modules to the final material.

As a result, content modules become available for reuse in emails and e-Detailers on the MODULES tab in eWizard Editor.
