Available for all item types
Use the TEXT
component to add localizable text strings to your eWizard items.
To add this component to your item, drag TEXT
from the Components
tab on the elements panel to the item layout.
Once the text component is added to the item layout and isn't modified, it's displayed in the EDIT
mode, but not in the Editor PREVIEW mode.
To add the required text:
1. Double-click the component on the layout and enter your text.
Keep each text component under 7,000 symbols to ensure their proper display across all email clients.
2. Go to the customization panel to access the text Properties
with the WYSIWYG editor.
Landing pages and their briefs
You can format your text as a heading or paragraph with the heading styling options on the Properties
tab. Applying the Heading 1
value to the text streamlines its visibility for search engines.
Along with common text, eWizard Editor offers you fixed text—a type of text component with preset properties predefined by the item template. Since the WYSIWYG editor is available in the read-only mode for the fixed text component, use inline editing to modify the text.
You can also configure the text component position and style, add actions and animation to it on the dedicated Editor tabs.
Code view
Available for emails, email fragments, and email briefs
You can view and edit the HTML code of the text component with the Code view
option.
To edit the HTML code of the text component:

You can edit only text-related HTML tags within the text component, ensuring correct HTML syntax. The Code view
functionality doesn't support adding or editing image, video, or button-related tags within text components.
4. Click the <>
button again to apply your changes and preview the result on the content item layout.
5. Click SAVE
in the Editor upper-right corner when the item editing is complete.
Fonts and colors
eWizard supports any font with the Server license. In Editor, you can find all available fonts in the Font family
list on the Properties tab. Not web safe fonts are marked with .
If the required font is missing in the font list, direct your request to eWizard Support.
When customizing text components, you can learn more about the updated Font policy used in eWizard. For this, follow the link in the text properties or go to eWizard legal papers.
Font rendering in your emails depends on the target email client and operating system. You can check it before sending the email with the Send a test or Device simulator options. If the target email client or operating system doesn't support the font used in your email, it's automatically replaced with a fallback font from the list.
You can also apply individual color picker for item customization. Depending on the email template, choose theme color for the text, email, block, and component background.
Line height
depends on the Font size
value. You can select the font size from the drop-down or enter the required value manually up to 400px.
