Test your item display in different email clients

Sending test emails allows you to validate how your email content appears in actual email clients before your email reaches the target recipients. This functionality helps you identify potential display issues, verify links, and ensure email rendering as intended.

You can launch test email sending either directly from Editor or from Library. Starting from Editor helps ensure you're testing the exact email you're working with, avoiding any mix-ups with similar emails stored in Library.

To send a test email from Editor, do the following:

  1. Click TEST.

  2. In the unfolded menu, select Send test email.

Send test email button

To run the Send test email option from Library, unfold the item more options and select TESTSend test email.

3. In the popup that appears, fill in the following fields:

  • Subject—your test email subject.

  • Teaser—the preview text of your email displayed after the subject.

  • Users—your test email recipients.

By default, this field is prefilled with your name, but you can replace it with any recipient. There is no limit to the number of test email recipients. Start typing an email address and select the required one from the suggested list.

For external recipients, enter a full email address manually.

4. Send your test email.

When you modify the Subject or Teaser text in the popup, you can:

  • Click SEND to use the changes only for this test email.

  • Click SAVE & SEND to apply the changes to this test email and the email in Editor.
