Layout width

You can set the layout width in pixels for your content items. For this, modify the width value in the SIZE section.

By default, the layout width is set to:

  • 700 pixels for emails

  • 600 pixels for messenger ads

  • 1440 pixels for websites

The minimum and maximum width differ for various content items:

Width

Emails

Websites,
messenger ads

Minimum

450

481

Maximum

900

1920

You can't set the layout width of the content item outside its minimum and maximum values.

Background color

You can set the background color of the content item layout with the color picker. Also, you can enter the HEX color codes or RGB values. To make the background transparent, click the No color button. Moreover, use theme colors to customize the content item layout, components, and component groups.

Layout alignment

In emails and email briefs, align the content item layout with the Right, Center, Left buttons. You can check the applied changes in the Editor PREVIEW mode. Also, the changes in the layout alignment appear in the target email client.

Color scheme

The color scheme is a set of specific colors predefined by the brand book to facilitate the content item customization.

The template and brand selected at the item creation step define the item color scheme available on the Settings tab.

After you select the color scheme, you can find a set of theme colors available for customization of the content item layout, components, and component groups.

Make sure your template supports the color scheme feature. Please contact your administrator for details.

Code snippets

You can use code snippets to create and edit deep links in emails for any target system, saving time and effort compared to manual coding. Deep links provide direct access to web content, like specific products, articles, or features within an app, enhancing engagement and user satisfaction. Using code snippets reduces the risk of errors in deep link creation, as the code is preconfigured and validated.

Contact your administrator to configure adding code snippets for any target system.

To add a code snippet to the email:

  1. Click in the CODE SNIPPET section on the email Settings tab.

If code snippets aren't configured for the target system set for the email you're editing, the button won't be displayed.

2. In the Add code snippet pop-up, paste the deep link to the Code snippet text box.

3. Click SAVE.

As a result, the code snippet is created. The snippet is saved in the HTML code of the email and isn't displayed on the email layout.

You can reference the code snippet with a free input link from the Edit link pop-up. For example, a button that opens the app on click.

To edit the existing code snippet, click on the email Settings tab.

When sending a test email, the added code snippet is currently displayed in the email teaser, which differs from the actual appearance of the final email mailout. We're aware of this discrepancy and are working to resolve it.

Font replacement

eWizard Editor allows you to efficiently update any font currently used within a content item at once. With this option, you can ensure consistent font application throughout the entire content, saving you time and effort.

Contact your administrator to configure font replacement in your content items.

To replace fonts:

  1. Click REPLACE in the FONT section on the content item Settings tab.

  2. In the Replace fonts pop-up, make your font choices.

  • The Current font read-only fields display each font currently used within the content item. eWizard Editor detects fonts in your content item automatically.

  • The Replacement font fields include dropdown lists with fonts available as substitutes to the current fonts. The dropdown list includes default fonts from eWizard Editor and fonts from the source template, sorted alphabetically.

You can't undo font replacement. The only way to restore the original fonts applied in the content item before the replacement is to roll back to the previous version.

3. Click REPLACE.

As a result, the selected fonts are updated throughout the entire content item.

If you add any text in other fonts to your content item after making font replacement, use the REFRESH button in the Replace fonts pop-up to renew the current font list.

The new font uses the same font weight and style as the font replaced.

If the font weight doesn't match, the following rules apply:

  • When the font weight is missing in the new font, the normal font weight is applied.

  • When the normal font weight isn't available in the new font, the closest font weight is used.

  • When several font weights are equal to normal, a smaller one is applied.

Components and reused slides added to the content item with the replaced font keep their original font. To replace the font in the newly added elements, run the replacement again.
