Additional scenarios for centralized tagging

  • Tagging content items after their publication to Veeva Vault PromoMats

    If you published content items to Veeva Vault as PDF for approval first, the Brand, Indication, and Subtherapeutic area tagging fields for all structural elements automatically inherit values from the related document in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • Publication to Veeva Vault as interactive

    When you publish the tagged content item to Veeva Vault as interactive:

    o On the DETAILS step, the Product field is prepopulated with the value from Veeva Vault PromoMats mapped to the Brand, Indication and Subtherapeutic area tags you added in Centralized tagging.

    o On the SLIDES and FRAGMENTS steps, the product metadata inherits the value from the DETAILS step.

    You can change the prepopulated values on the DETAILS, SLIDES, and FRAGMENTS steps if required.

  • Adding tagged e-Detailers to a portfolio e-Detailer

    Slides of nested e-Detailers don't retain tags when you:

    Manually tag the portfolio e-Detailer or launch AI-powered tag generation.

  • Tagging email fragments from Veeva Vault PromoMats

    Veeva Vault fragments are linked to rep-triggered emails with the assigned tags. You can change tags if required.

  • Copying the tagged content item

    o From Global / MASTER to any local country: When copying a tagged content item and changing the country metadata from Global / MASTER to another country, the copy inherits all tag values from the original content item.

    o From one country to another (non-Global / MASTER): If the original content item has country metadata other than Global / MASTER and you change it to another non-Global / MASTER country, the copy inherits the brand, indication, and subtherapeutic area values. However, the local key message is cleared.

    o Same country metadata: If the content item is tagged with country metadata other than Global / MASTER and you keep the same country when copying, the copy retains all the tag values from the original content item.

  • Sharing tagged content items

    Upon sharing the content item with assigned tags, ask your collaborators to reload the Tagging page to view real-time tag updates.
