Contact your administrator to configure sync of eWizard email updates with the matching Contentful email.

Use one of the following ways to create an email in eWizard for its further sync with the matching entry in Contentful:

  • Create an email in eWizard Library.

  • Open a Contentful email in eWizard.

For proper sync of eWizard emails with matching Contentful entries, eWizard templates require additional configuration in the eWizard.js framework.

When you update your email in eWizard Editor, your changes are synced with the matching email in Contentful.

For example, you can add a text component, subject, and teaser to your email in Editor.

As a result, you can find the email subject and teaser in the Subject line and Teaser line fields in Contentful. Added components are displayed in the Content section.

In Contentful, you can view the text added to the email in eWizard Editor. For this, click the text component name.

You can reuse the component as existing content in other Contentful entries, for example, in a presentation slide.

When you remove a component from the email layout in eWizard Editor, it's also deleted from the matching Contentful email. If you delete an email from the eWizard Library, the respective entry in Contentful is also removed. Components reused in other entries remain unaffected by deletion.

Note that components reused in other entries remain unaffected by deletion. For example, if you add the text component to the email and reuse it in the presentation, removing the text from the email layout in eWizard Editor deletes the component only from the Contentful email. The same text component reused in the presentation remains unchanged.
