You can customize the mobile version of your content items in the EDIT
mode, ensuring it's optimized for mobile screens. While the editing process is similar across desktop, tablet, and mobile versions, mobile editing has distinct characteristics. Unlike tablet view editing, which offers greater flexibility for arranging content on medium-sized screens, mobile editing prioritizes simplicity and efficiency in content item customization, ensuring everything works and displays as designed.
By default, content items open in the desktop version, where you can customize component styling and properties, add claims to them, and modify the item layout with its settings. Additionally, you can select multiple blocks, placeholders, or components on the content item layout or the Tree tab to move, delete, or duplicate them.
After editing your item in the desktop version, click on the bottom bar to proceed to the mobile version customization.
The mobile version inherits the initial customization of the item you made in the desktop version. Further changes in the mobile version overwrite the previous changes from the desktop version.
In the mobile version, a set of available options depends on the content item type you're editing and is limited to the following:
On the Styling tab, you can customize the background color, opacity, paddings, borders, and corner radius of components, placeholders, and blocks.
On the Properties tab, you can change the font size, alignment, indent, and line height of the text component.
On the Settings tab, you can set the background color and alignment of the content item layout.
Other options are inactive and can't be applied.

Make sure your template supports mobile version editing. The value lists for paddings, font size, and line height can be customized according to your requirements. Contact the administrator for details.
By default, in the mobile version:
Placeholder columns and their components are vertically oriented.
To arrange placeholder columns and their components horizontally, select the required placeholder on the layout and go to the
Properties
tab. Here, clear theRearrange columns for Mobile view
checkbox. The text font size is smaller than that of the desktop version.
Blocks may have pre-designed paddings different from those set in the desktop version.
Images can be resized to fit a block with the pre-designed padding.
Images
On the Styling tab, you can set different background images for the selected component, block, or placeholder. Adding a background image in the mobile version can result in a cropped or collapsed display of your email in some email clients.
On the Properties tab, you can upload different images for the desktop, tablet, and mobile versions. For this, add the image component separately to the layout for the desktop, tablet, and mobile versions. To hide the image in the desktop/tablet/mobile version, clear the
Show in Desktop/Tablet/Mobile
checkbox.
When you edit the item text, these changes are displayed in the desktop, tablet, and mobile versions.
You can preview your content item on mobile devices as follows:
In portrait orientation—the tablet and mobile version of your content item.
In landscape orientation—the desktop, tablet, and mobile version of your content item.
