In NaviGate, you can manage channels and media according to the workflows customized to meet your needs. A workflow is a sequence of actions and statuses that entries pass within a specific business process. Each workflow is set for a specific channel or media type/subtype and is assigned to a responsible user group.

To create several workflows for the same entry type/subtype, select a different user group for each workflow. For example, Group 1 can work on approved emails only within Workflow 1. Workflow 2 for approved emails must be assigned to another group. As a result, you go through the workflow depending on the user group you belong to.

To configure the required workflow and its statuses, contact your administrator.

You can view the entry workflow status on its card, on the Overview and Details pages.

To filter entries by workflow statuses, select the required checkboxes in the advanced filters.

You can view workflow statuses of any entry on the Details page. However, only users within the assigned group can change the workflow status. For this:

1. Hover over the arrow in the upper-right corner.

2. Click the next available status that appears under the arrow.

3. In the Push forward pop-up, enter a user or group name responsible for the next workflow step.

4. Leave a comment if required.

5. Click PUSH.

The newly assigned user/group and the entry owner get an email notification with the status update information and a direct link to the channel/media in NaviGate.
