To streamline your search through the repository, NaviGate offers global and local metadata filters. You can select more than one value for each filter field if needed.

Global filters

With global filters, entries are handled in terms of their applicability to a region, subregion, market, and therapeutic area. To apply the global filter, unfold the required filter list and set the values.

The filters are interrelated: when one of them is specified, the other drop-downs hold only the options relevant to the chosen filter value.

You can narrow down your search even more using several filters at the same time.

Local filters

With the local filters, you can organize the entries by brands, channels, content packs, portfolios, and media types.

To set the filtering criteria, click the local filter you need, and select the required checkboxes in the drop-down.

The local filter options are predefined by the values set for the global filters.

To clear a particular local filter, click x on the right-hand side of each filter field. To reset all the set values for local filters at once, click Clear all filters.

The Advanced filters allow you to filter the entries by language, publisher, owner, NaviGate status (live, expired, archived), workflow status, and by different dates (created, published, last modified).

To filter the entries by date, click the calendar button in the required field and select a particular date or time period. Then click Apply to run the filtering.

Moreover, you can copy the URL to your filtered results. To get the direct link, follow the steps below:

1. Click Copy URL.

2. Click the copy button in the pop-up that appears.

3. Click CLOSE.

The link is copied to the clipboard, so you can send it to the target person.

Sorting

To sort the NaviGate entries, unfold the Sort by drop-down and select the required criteria from the list.

As a result, the sorted NaviGate entries are displayed in the main area.
