Both content packs and portfolios are, literally, folders with similar usage. The difference is that portfolios can cover several brands, and content packs are brand-specific.
New
To create a new content pack/portfolio, click +
and enter its name in the pop-up that appears.
Content packs
Define the brand name it will be characterized by.
Handling
Content packs and portfolios are displayed on the respective NaviGate tabs.
The content pack/portfolio card comprises its image preview [1], icon and the name that can be edited [2], the assigned brand name [3], the icons of the channel types and media it includes [4], and status indication [5].
Content packs and portfolios can be of any status: Live
, Expired
, or Archived
. The Archived
content packs/portfolios are visible only to their owner. The expiration date of the content packs/portfolios is the same as the earliest expiration date of their contents.
To change the expiration date of the content pack/portfolio, unfold more options of the required entry and click Details
. On the page that appears, click EDIT DETAILS
to access the Edit pop-up. Here, set a new date in the Valid till
field and click UPDATE
.
To apply the updated expiration date to the content pack/portfolio, be sure to modify the expiration date of each entry added to this content pack/portfolio.
Click the content pack/portfolio card to open its details overview.
For content packs/portfolios where you're the owner, you can also initiate their editing, archiving, and deletion with the more options menu.
Content packs
Editing the Brand
field is available only for empty content packs.
Click OPEN
to view the channels and media added to the given content pack/portfolio that are displayed on separate tabs.
Since the portfolio can contain channels and media of different brands, their cards are also displayed on the BRANDS
tab.
Brands appear automatically along with the channels/media you add to the portfolio. So, you don't explicitly add brands to the portfolio.
You can add the channel or media to the content pack/portfolio in two ways:
With the respective channel/media more options menu.
On the required content pack/portfolio page with the button. In the pop-up that appears, all the channels/media present in NaviGate are displayed.
Content packs
All the available channels/media are filtered by the brand assigned to the given content pack.
Channels/media are removed from the content pack/portfolio on their Details
pages respectively.
To remove the channel from the content pack:
1. Go to the required content pack Details
page โ CHANNELS
tab.
2. Click the channel card.
3. Unfold its more options and select Remove from content pack
.
You can remove the media entry from the content pack via the same more options action on the MEDIA
tab.
To remove the channel/media from the portfolio, follow the same scenario on the required portfolio Details
page using the Remove from portfolio
option.
