Create channels and manage them in NaviGate

Channels are NaviGate items assigned to particular brands.

Channel types correspond to the eWizard item types (e-Detailers, emails, modules, and so on) and are all displayed with the respective indicators on the CHANNELS tab.

Each channel card contains the image preview, type, name, last modified date, and workflow status if any.

When the channel is added to the templates, its card also features the label indicator in the upper-right corner of its thumbnail.

Once the channel is archived, it's automatically removed from the templates. If you, as its owner, Restore the channel, add it to the templates again.

New

eWizard NaviGate offers you several ways to add a channel.

Upload an item ZIP archive from your local storage. This item must be previously created with the eWizard platform and downloaded to your device. Click +Upload, drag the item ZIP archive to the Upload pop-up that appears, and fill in the required metadata fields. When you set the value for one metadata field, this value determines the list of metadata options for other related fields.

Convert Veeva Vault emails and email fragments into the eWizard-compatible format.

Publish the eWizard item to NaviGate.

As a result, the channel of the respective type appears in NaviGate.

Details and versions

On the Details page, you can view the channel details, its workflow status, version history, and other channels related to the selected one. To open the channel details page, click its more options button and select Details.

On the page that appears, you can:

• Open the channel in Viewer with the VIEW button.

Edit the channel details with the EDIT DETAILS button.

• Apply the channel more options.

• View the workflow status of a channel and change it if you have access.

• Check the information on the following tabs:

  • VERSIONS displays the version history. You can download a ZIP archive of the required version with the action button.

  • EMAIL FRAGMENTS USED displays email fragments added to the selected email. Available for channels converted from Veeva Vault.

  • USED IN EMAILS displays emails that contain the selected email fragment.

  • MODULES USED displays modules added to the selected channel. Available for channels with modules uploaded from NaviGate.

  • USED IN CHANNELS displays the channels that contain the selected module.

  • RELATED ASSETS displays NaviGate assets added to the item in eWizard Editor before publishing it to NaviGate.

  • RELATED MATERIAL displays the PDF file with the viewable rendition. The file is generated when you publish the eWizard item to NaviGate.

To download or preview the related channels, open more options and click the dedicated button.

Editing

On the Details page, you can edit the channel metadata. For this, click EDIT DETAILS. Make the required changes in the pop-up that appears.

Make the necessary changes in the Edit pop-up that appears.

When you specify the value for one metadata field, it can determine the list of values for other interrelated fields.

You can select the required checkboxes to add a channel to templates and My list.

Click UPDATE to apply your changes.
