You can convert Veeva Vault email fragments and emails, including their related email fragments, into the eWizard-compatible format and then manage the converted channels in NaviGate. For this:
1. Go to the CHANNELS
tab in NaviGate.
2. In the lower-right corner, click โ
Convert
.
3. In the pop-up that appears, select the required Veeva Vault instance. Then, log in to your Veeva Vault account and select the environment.
The preparation page opens.
4. In the Assets pop-up, select the email(s) and/or email fragments to convert and click ADD
.
Emails are converted along with their related email fragments, if any. The related email fragments can't be excluded from the conversion process.
Use the filters on the left for a quick search.
Click the view mode button to switch to the list view. To view the item details, click โน๏ธ.
5. Fill in all mandatory fields and click NEXT
.
Select the Activate synchronization
checkbox to sync NaviGate email channels with emails/email fragments converted from Veeva Vault. Also, the converted items are automatically published to the Salesforce instances depending on the converted item status:
Staged items are published to the stage instance.
Approved items are published to the production instance.
In this case, the changes applied to the item in Veeva Vault are also applied in NaviGate and Salesforce. The synchronization between these target systems takes place every 30 minutes.
The email fragments can't be synchronized apart from their related emails.
To return to the Assets
pop-up and select more emails and/or email fragments for conversion, click BROWSE MORE
on the upper left.
6. Check the summary and click CONVERT
.
You can see the conversion progress separately for each email and email fragment under its preview.
To return to NaviGate when the conversion is still in progress, click RUN IN BACKGROUND
.
7. Once the conversion is complete:
Click
CONVERT MORE
to select other emails and email fragments to convert.Click
SHOW IN NAVIGATE
to view the converted emails and email fragments. They're displayed on the CHANNELS tab in NaviGate.
To view the related email fragments, switch to the EMAIL FRAGMENTS USED
tab in the email channel preview pop-up.
Here, you can also hover over the related email fragment card and do the following:
Unlink the related email fragment from the email. Confirm your decision in the pop-up that appears.
Add the related email fragment to My list.
