eWizard allows users to incorporate business flows into their work with emails of two types:

  • Rep-triggered—targeted and personal emails. You use this type to send an invitation email, a follow-up upon the presentation demonstration, or to perform other personalized activities. The content in rep-triggered emails is always credible and lets companies interact with customers more efficiently.

  • Broadcast—emails used for mass mailing. It's designed for multiple addressees and provides common fact-finding or introductory information on your product.

These two email types are supported by eWizard with specially designed blocks, modules, and merge tags.

The email is created in eWizard as usual. Since the intended purpose of each email mainly depends on the end-usage destination (a system customers utilize for personalized and mass mailing), the first rule is to select the correct target system.

To change the email type:

  1. Unfold the email more options in My library.

  2. Select Edit details or Make a copy.

To avoid changes in the original template, we recommend making a copy of the email.

3. Change the email type.

4. Select the required target system.

These changes increase the middle digit of the email version.

5. Save changes.

As a result, the updated email contains blocks and merge tags set for the selected email type and target system.

The automatic replacement of merge tags is configured for the specific target systems on demand. Edited or newly added merge tags are not replaced.

Look at the differences between the same header and content blocks and their merge tags in different email types.

Accurately check the merge tags syntax in the email after changing its type and target system. An error may occur when sending emails with incorrect merge tags from the CRM system.
