You can send your emails and email fragments to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and IQVIA OCE Digital to use them in email campaigns. In the target system, the resulting assets feature all required metadata and linkage.
To publish your item to SFMC:
1. Select SFMC/IQVIA OCE Digital on the target system selection page and click NEXT.
If you're publishing the email, sign in to Veeva Vault to check whether this email has been previously published as a PDF.
When the status of your PDF document in Veeva Vault is missing in the Publisher settings, the Confirmation pop-up appears. It contains the list of document statuses required to proceed with the email publication. You can change the document status on its information page in Veeva Vault.
To confirm the email publication in the current status, select the checkbox in the pop-up and click CONTINUE.
When the PDF version of your email doesn't exist in Veeva Vault, the PDF publication recommended pop-up appears. Here, you can:
[1]: Run the email publication as PDF.
[2]: Continue publishing the email to SFMC as is.
[3]: Switch a current account to publish your email under different user credentials.
2. On the preparation page, click NEXT.
3. Fill in the metadata fields:
Target: Select the Salesforce environment used in your company.Business unit: Select the business unit of your Marketing Cloud account that allows you to share information and control access to it.Folder: Select the target directory for your published content item from the list of folders that your business unit owns.Approved PDF document: The field displays the name of the PDF version of this content item in Veeva Vault PromoMats, if any. You can also browse and select another PDF document. Search results display all PDF documents regardless of their status. Select the PDF document with the appropriate status to proceed to the next publication step. After publication, the resulting email contains the number of the specified PDF document in theData Extensionssection in SFMC.
Contact your administrator to configure:
Metadata fields on the
DETAILSstep.The inheritance and editing settings for the
Subject lineandPreheader linevalues.The search setting for approved PDF documents.
Filtering rules that control which documents appear in the
Approved PDF Documentlist, based on one or more of the following:Metadata set in your user profile.
Metadata specified for content items.
Metadata and/or status specified for VVPM PDF documents.
4. Click NEXT.
The system checks and notifies you if the email is published as new or an update to the previously published item.
5. Check the publication summary and click PUBLISH.
Once the publishing is complete:
β’ Click DONE to go to Publish manager.
β’ Click the generated link on this page or in your incoming email to go to SFMC (for successful publication).
Emails
In SFMC, you can track Veeva Vault modules of the published email by IDs. They're assigned to the modules in eWizard during the initial publication of this email to Veeva Vault as PDF.
