With the ModCon 1.0 approach, you can create and customize a module as intended. When editing, you can modify the added components manually or pull assets from Veeva Vault PromoMats or eWizard Library and classify them by element types. When pulling a content module from Veeva Vault PromoMats, its assets automatically populate components according to their element types.

Once you publish the module from eWizard to Veeva Vault PromoMats, you can reuse it in content items the ModCon 1.0 approach applies to—emails and e-Detailers. For this:

  1. Add an available block from the Blocks tab to the item layout.

  2. Use the Assets popup to add a module to your content item blocks according to the component classification.

  3. Replace components of the added module.

When adding the content module from Veeva Vault PromoMats to emails and their briefs, the Apply module layout popup appears. Here, you can do the following:

[1]: Apply the preset layout of the content module from Veeva Vault PromoMats created with the block in eWizard Editor.

[2]: Discard the preset content module layout. Once uploaded, the content module inherits the styling and formatting of the content item layout. The content module assets are inserted into the block components according to the matching element type if assigned.

Then, you can publish the content item to Veeva Vault PromoMats. The modules used in your email or e-Detailer are linked to the resulting PDF document. You can find all modules linked to the published e-Detailer or email on its document information page in the Content Modules field. With this linkage, the modules undergo the approval process together with the resulting PDF and are available for further reuse.

Additionally, the module sent to Veeva Vault PromoMats can go through a separate medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) approval. After this, the content module can be used in different eWizard content items.

To prevent redundant checks for the already approved content modules, you can apply the Highlight modules option. It marks the content module modification statuses in the exported and published document as PDF. You can also single out content modules added to the content item in the Editor PREVIEW mode.
