Veeva Vault as distribution package

You can publish e-Detailers and emails to Veeva Vault in different formats as distribution packages. After the publication, they're linked as renditions to the selected Veeva Vault documents.

You can't publish an item as a distribution package to an empty placeholder. Specify the name or number of a document previously published to Veeva Vault as PDF.

To publish your item to Veeva Vault as a distribution package:

1. Choose Veeva Vault (Distribution Package) on the target system selection page and click NEXT.

When publishing a validated content item with less than 80% success, Veeva target systems aren't available for selection. The sign appears in the popup with suggestions for improving content quality.

2. In the pop-up that appears, sign in to your Veeva Vault account.

3. Select the required Veeva Vault environment.

4. On the Preparation step, enter the name or number of the document to which you attach the distribution package.

5. Click NEXT.

On the Details step, you can view the metadata of the selected Veeva Vault document.

6. Click NEXT.

7. Check the publication summary and click PUBLISH.

Once the publication is complete:

Click DONE to go to Publish manager.
Click Show in Veeva Vault to open the published document (for successful publication). You can view the resulting distribution package in the Renditions section.
