With the Edit in eWizard option, you can edit or localize Veeva Vault documents in eWizard. For this, your Veeva Vault document must meet any of the following requirements:

• Be an eWizard item previously published to Veeva Vault

• Be a document linked to a NaviGate channel as the external material

Edit in eWizard can be configured for a specific document status. It's available for the Global Manager, Local Brand Manager, and Agency user roles.

Any changes made with the Edit in eWizard option appear in Veeva Vault upon another publication of this item.

To edit a Veeva Vault document in eWizard:

1. Go to the document information page in Veeva Vault.

2. Open the actions menu. Click Edit in eWizard.

Non-owners permitted to edit a document in Veeva Vault keep their Editor permission in eWizard once they apply Edit in eWizard to this document.

3. Sign in to eWizard, if required.

4. In the Edit in eWizard pop-up, click CONTINUE.

5. Edit the item in eWizard.

6. Publish your modified item to Veeva Vault to update the initial Veeva Vault document.

Modules

When you publish:

  • A localized module, the module Approval Document is updated and the Content Module object is created in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • A modified module copy, the metadata fields on the DETAILS step are automatically populated with values inherited from the parent document in Veeva Vault PromoMats. Applicable to content items published to the target system for the first time.

Contact eWizard Support to set up the linkage between the localized module you publish to Veeva Vault PromoMats and the initial module copy in Veeva Vault PromoMats you've created for localization.

You can ask eWizard Support to set up a linkage between the localized module you publish to Veeva Vault and the initial Veeva Vault module copy you've created for localization.
