eVa AI can create texts and images using assets stored in the Veeva Vault digital asset management system and texts from a client-provided knowledge base or suggest AI-generated content. Use the resulting variants to populate content items created in Library, and customize them in Editor. All interactions with the AI agent are saved in the chat history, allowing you to return to and continue previous work.
Request
The Content generation agent processes prompts that ask it to perform specific tasks—such as answer questions, generate text, create images, retrieve content, align content with knowledge base materials, translate texts, and organize suggested variants into a complete content item layout.
To work with the eVa AI agent hub:
In the eVa AI hub, which opens in a new tab, enter your request in the input field. You can enter up to 10,000 characters.

Enteron your keyboard to start the generation.If a request is ambiguous or covers a broad topic, the eVa AI agent may ask additional questions to clarify it and suggest the most accurate content.
To get accurate and helpful responses from the AI agent, adhere to the following guidelines:
Include the word "suggest" in your prompt to increase the likelihood of retrieving information from Veeva Vault DAM.
You can enter a prompt in any language supported by the eWizard platform; however, eVa AI provides suggestions only in languages of the content stored in Veeva Vault DAM and the knowledge base.
Don't request data that is unrelated, inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of legal, ethical, or platform-specific guidelines.
Include the words "translate", "localize", or "convert" in your prompt to allow the Translate agent to guide the automatic translation service.
eVa AI generates variants using data from your knowledge base and Veeva Vault DAM. There, it selects assets based on product metadata and approval status. If no relevant matches are found, eVa AI generates the required content.
Contact the administrator to configure the product and status metadata for assets the AI agent can suggest from Veeva Vault.
The AI agent response appears below your request and is displayed as a card in the main area of the hub. This communication is automatically saved in the chat history.
If a request includes both text and image generation, each suggestion appears as a separate card.
When you request several content variants without specifying an exact number, the AI agent suggests the following by default:
3 assets from Veeva Vault DAM.
1 text generated from data in the knowledge base.
1 text or image generated by eVa AI.
The maximum number of variants the AI agent can suggest is 10.
The AI agent considers the current chat context when generating variants.
The summary card appears below the response in the following cases:
To consolidate key points from the suggested variants.
To recap a decision.
To combine suggested variants after step-by-step requests.
If none of the AI-generated variants meet your requirements, you can:
Modify your request.
Request adjustments from eVa AI.
Request localization from eVa AI.
AI-suggested texts
You can copy any text response from eVa AI with the
button below the text card. Then, paste it into a text-based component in eWizard Editor to adjust the style and properties of the pasted text.
Identify the source of suggested texts as follows:
Text assets from Veeva Vault are labeled
DAM.The text card displays a non-clickable claim number, which you can copy to search for the source text asset in Veeva Vault.
AI-generated texts have no label.
Texts based on knowledge base data.
To view the list of references for the suggested text, click
All sourcesbelow the text card. In the list that opens, click
next to a source document name to open its preview in the eVa AI interface.If a source document format isn’t supported for preview in eVa AI, the file is automatically downloaded to your device when you click the
button.
As a result, the document preview is opened in the right sidebar. Here, you can do the following:
Open the document in a new browser tab with the
button.Scale the document preview with the
-and+buttons.Navigate between the document pages with the arrow buttons.
Close the document preview with the
xbutton.References are automatically included in the interactive email generated by eVa AI. They appear in the
Referencesblock, which displays the source document names (non-clickable), their file formats, and superscript numbers linked to the matching references. You can also manually edit, add, or remove references in Editor as needed.
If the selected email template doesn't include a
Referencesblock, you can manually add the REFERENCES component to the generated interactive email in Editor. Once added, you can view and manage both the references and suggested texts retrieved from the knowledge base.
AI-suggested images
You can manage AI-suggested images as follows:
To download an image in PNG format, click the
button.To request eVa AI to modify an image, select the checkbox below it and enter your prompt.
The selected image appears as a thumbnail with the image name in the prompt field. You can click the
xbutton on the thumbnail to remove it from the AI agent response.To enlarge an image for a full preview, hover over it and click
. If the response includes several images, you can use the navigation panel at the bottom of the preview to switch between them.

AI-suggested emails
eVa AI streamlines the process of interactive email creation—from collecting key details and selecting a suitable template to filling it with relevant texts and images—delivering a ready-to-edit and preview interactive email. This saves time and ensures every email meets your content standards and campaign goals.
To create an interactive email with the eVa AI agent:
On your eWizard homepage or in Library, click
in the upper-right corner.Hit
Enteron your keyboard to start the generation.As a result, eVa AI shows you available email templates that support AI-powered content generation.
Contact your administrator to configure the availability of templates for email generation and to set the minimum number of blocks, texts, and images allowed.
4. Click the template to select it. You can select only one template at a time.
eVa AI provides flexible options for generating interactive emails. Powered by a core LLM service, it selects and organizes content based on three possible scenarios:
No chat history
There's no prior chat history with suggested or selected texts/images. When generating an interactive email, eVa AI pulls a pre-configured minimum number of texts directly from the knowledge base and images from DAM. As a result, the interactive email is populated with default content to ensure it meets the required minimum.
Chat history and no AI-suggested text and image selection
The chat history includes AI-suggested texts and images, but you haven't made any selection. The eVa AI agent chooses relevant content from this chat history to populate the email template. If the amount of content is insufficient to meet the pre-configured minimum, eVa AI supplements the missing content with additional, relevant assets from the knowledge base.
The eVa AI agent ensures that selected content is semantically and logically related to the topic. For example, pulling assets related to Forteris rather than other products.
Chat history with AI-suggested text and image selection
You can choose texts and/or images from the chat history. eVa AI prioritizes and inserts the selected content into the email template. If it doesn't meet the minimum requirement, the AI agent fills the remaining email blocks with assets from the chat history first. If still insufficient, the eVa AI agent completes the email template with additional content from the knowledge base.
The eVa AI agent processes the template and generates the ready-to-view and edit interactive email.
If the initial prompt is insufficient, eVa AI asks clarifying questions.
You can manage the AI-suggested email in the following ways:
Open the email in Editor with the
button.The email is stored in the Deleted space of your Library. Once you open it in Editor, it automatically moves to the My library space. You can change the email metadata with the Edit details option.
Open the suggested interactive email in Viewer with the
button.
AI-suggested translation
The Translate agent powers eVa AI translation capabilities, using your knowledge base documents and style guide rules to support the automatic translation service. This ensures translated texts remain consistent, accurate, regulatory-compliant, and context-aware.
When making a translation request, specify the target language.
eVa AI can automatically detect the original language.
To translate a text with eVa AI:
In the eVa AI conversational hub, enter the text and request translation in the prompt field.
In the eVa AI chat within Editor, select the required text cards and enter your request in the prompt field.
If you don't enter text or select text cards when making a request, eVa AI translates the most recent response or summary card.
The Translate agent provides a list of references below the card when the translation is based on materials from your knowledge base.
Use the translation card to copy translated text, view references, and open source documents.
Chat history
The chats panel gives you access to your past interactions with eVa AI. Use the chats panel to review and continue previous conversations.
Each chat is named automatically based on your initial prompt.
A chat moves to the top of the TODAY section when you:
Chats started over 30 days ago are in the PREVIOUS 30 DAYS section.
When you apply the Delete option, chats are permanently removed from the eVa AI history.
AI-suggested images are retained in the chat history for 7 days.
