Within eWizard Business Admin, you can configure SFMC publish properties for emails and email fragments.
In the target system list, click SFMC
to open its settings page.
The SFMC publish configuration comprises two main tabs:
GENERAL SETTINGS, where you can customize MLR settings, value inheritance, and field properties.
ENVIRONMENTS, where you can configure dedicated business units.
MLR settings
Before email publication to SFMC becomes available, the system verifies if the email was previously published as PDF and its status in Veeva Vault PromoMats. In MLR SETTINGS
of the SFMC publish configuration, you can specify the MLR statuses that the PDF documents must have in Veeva Vault PromoMats to allow email publication to SFMC.
To include the MLR status check in the publication flow, the Active
checkbox must be selected. If not, click the EDIT
button and select this checkbox in the pop-up that appears.
In the Edit
pop-up, you can also add names of the PDF document statuses allowed for SFMC publish. Use +
to add as many status options as required and โ
to remove redundant statuses from the list.
Be sure to use status names as they're configured in your Veeva Vault PromoMats. Don't capitalize the values.
Value inheritance
In the VALUE INHERITANCE
subsection, you can configure metadata mapping for the email subject and teaser lines and activate automatic prepopulation of these values from the email to the matching fields during the SFMC publish.
To allow value inheritance in the publication flow, the Active
checkbox must be selected. If not, click the EDIT
button and select this checkbox in the pop-up that appears.
In the Edit
pop-up, you can also configure the metadata inheritance mapping between the eWizard Editor and Publisher services. For this, enter subject
and preheader
as system field keys configured for the SFMC publish configuration.
Select the Readonly
checkbox to control the subject and teaser field behavior during email publishing to SFMC:
If the email includes the subject and teaser values added in Editor, these values are displayed on the Publisher page and can't be edited.
If the email is missing the subject and teaser values, user can add them to the matching fields during email publication to SFMC.
Fields
In the FIELDS
subsection, you can customize names of the fields displayed on the Publisher interface. For this, click the button for the required field record and modify the field label.
If you remove the field label value, the default system field name will be displayed on the Publisher interface instead.
