Besides configuration for the Publisher DETAILS step, Business Admin provides you with tools to configure fields for other Publisher steps:

Slides in e-Detailers

To configure the SLIDES step of e-Detailer publication:

  1. Click Veeva Vault as interactive on the Publish configuration page.

  2. Select the required environment for the e-Detailer.

  3. On the general configuration page, go to the SLIDES tab.

To include the SLIDES step in the e-Detailer publication process, the Active checkbox must be selected. If not, click the EDIT button and select this checkbox in the pop-up that appears.

Generally, fields on the SLIDES tab have the same properties as those on the DETAILS tab with some additions.

Property

Description

Apply all

The checkbox you can select to apply the field value set for one slide to all e-Detailer slides.

Inherits from parent

The parent–child field relationship you can activate to pull the slide field value from the DETAILS tab. Enter the local key of the parent e-Detailer field whose value you want your slide field to inherit.

Slide field mapping

Mapping of metadata fields by Vault and local keys to establish relationships and rules for transferring the slide data from eWizard to Veeva Vault PromoMats.

Shared resource field mapping

Mapping of metadata fields by Vault and local keys to establish relationships and rules for transferring common assets to a single directory during the e-Detailer publication from eWizard to Veeva Vault PromoMats as interactive.
The Shared resource feature in Publisher is configured by eWizard Support on request.

The fields marked with asterisks (*) are mandatory.

Both the slide and shared resource field mapping rules are preconfigured. If you need any changes, contact eWizard Support for assistance.

Fragments in emails

If your business flows require publishing emails that contain email fragments, you can configure a separate FRAGMENTS step of email publication in Business Admin. For this:

  1. Click Veeva Vault as interactive on the Publish configuration page.

  2. Select the required environment for the email with fragments.

  3. On the general configuration page, go to the FRAGMENTS tab.

To include the FRAGMENTS step in the email publication process, the Active checkbox must be selected. If not, click the EDIT button and select this checkbox in the pop-up that appears.

As a rule, the FRAGMENTS step is already configured by eWizard Support, however you can update the Relationship type value, if required. For this, use the EDIT button and make the required change in the pop-up that appears. In Relationship type, you can specify the API key of the field in Veeva Vault PromoMats to be used for linking the email fragments related to the published email.

In the Fragment configuration key field, you can see the environment system key of a separate email fragment that will be published along with the related parent email.

Once the FRAGMENTS step is correctly configured, during email publication to Veeva Vault as interactive, a separate publish will be automatically be performed for the fragment, which is a part of the published email.

You can find the records of both publications in Publish manager.

In addition to common field properties, you can customize the inheritance for fields available on the FRAGMENTS tab as follows:

Property

Description

Inherits from parent

The parent–child field relationship you can activate to pull the parent email field value from the DETAILS tab. Enter the local key of the email field whose value you want your email fragment field to inherit.
