You can edit Veeva Vault documents in eWizard provided that:

To start the editing process, apply the Edit in eWizard web action on the Veeva Vault document information page.

The Edit in eWizard web action can be configured for a specific document status and is available for the Global Manager, Local Brand Manager, and Agency user roles.

Any changes made with the Edit in eWizard web action appear in Veeva Vault after the next publication of this item.

You can also make a copy of the Veeva Vault document for its further localization in eWizard and apply the Edit in eWizard web action for this document copy.

Localization with Edit in eWizard

To localize a Veeva Vault document in eWizard:

1. Go to the document information page in Veeva Vault.

2. Open the actions menu and click Make a copy.

3. Set the required country and language for the document copy.

4. Click SAVE.

5. Open the actions menu of the document copy and click Edit in eWizard.

6. In the Edit in eWizard pop-up, click CONTINUE.

7. Localize the item in eWizard.

8. Publish your localized item to Veeva Vault to update the localization copy created in Step 2.

Modules

When you publish the localized module, this module's approval document is updated. Also, the content module object is created in Veeva Vault.

You can ask eWizard Support to set up a linkage between the localized module you publish to Veeva Vault and the initial Veeva Vault module copy you've created for localization.
