Use the MEDIA ASSETS component to upload the image, video, and coded (interactive) assets from Library, Veeva Vault, or your device to a single placeholder on the item layout.

To add MEDIA ASSETS to your item, drag it from the Components tab on the elements panel to the layout or block.

To upload a media asset:

  1. Double-click the component on the layout or click BROWSE on the Properties tab.

Here you can also change the component name. This value is displayed on the Tree tab.

  2. In the Assets pop-up, select the upload source: LIBRARY, VEEVA VAULT, or UPLOAD FROM PC.

  3. Choose the media asset type: IMAGE, VIDEO, or INTERACTIVE.

The media asset types can vary depending on the components available in your template. For example, if the video component is missing in your template, you can select the IMAGE and INTERACTIVE media assets only.

4. Select the media asset.

5. Click ADD.

When the media asset appears on the layout, you can customize its styles and properties.

On the Properties tab, you can replace the media asset with the asset of any available [1] or selected type [2].

To upload a module to the block with the media asset:

  1. Drag MEDIA ASSETS to the block on the item layout.

  2. Hover over the block and click Blocks on its left.

  3. On the Properties tab, click BROWSE.

4. In the Assets pop-up, select the required module from Veeva Vault or NaviGate.

5. Click ADD.

When the selected module contains several media assets, the Media asset variations pop-up opens. Choose the required media asset to upload and click CONTINUE.
