The integration of eWizard Planner and Atlassian Jira allows you to plan work, synchronize the necessary data, optimize collaboration, develop and manage items.

Creating the campaign in Planner triggers the initiative adding in Jira.

The item added in Planner initiates the epic creation in Jira. For this, set the Viseven DCF value for the Agency assistance metadata field in the Create new pop-up.

After the issue creation in Jira, the assignee receives an email notification with the link to the issue page. You can also find the newly created issue in Jira by the Planner entry name.

The email notification depends on the Jira configuration. Contact your administrator for details.

Initiatives

The initiative inherits the following campaign metadata:

  • Name becomes the initiative Summary.

  • Responsible is stated as the initiative Assignee and Liaison manager.

  • Created by person is set as the initiative Reporter. If the campaign creator has no account in Jira, then the Reporter field is assigned the default value.

Upon editing the Summary and Liaison manager values in the Jira initiative, the respective campaign values in Planner are updated automatically. If the initiative Summary contains more than 100 characters, it's not synced with the Planner Name.

After you add e-Detailers, emails, email fragments, modules, landing pages, or tasks to the campaign in Planner, the respective epics are attached to the initiative in the Child issues section.

Epics

The epic inherits the following item metadata:

  • Name becomes the epic Summary.

  • Responsible is stated as the epic Assignee and Liaison manager.

  • Created by a person set as the epic Reporter. If the item creator has no account in Jira, then the Reporter field is assigned the default value.

  • Brand becomes the epic Product.

  • Language populates the epic Asset language.

  • Country becomes the epic Asset country.

  • Start work on indicates the epic Start work date.

  • Deadline indicates the epic Expected release date.

  • Description is set as the epic Description.

To open the initiative this epic belongs to, click the Parent link reference. If you assign the item to another ,canpaign in Planner, the epic Parent link in Jira is automatically updated.

If Jira contains no matching metadata values assigned to the item, the default values are set in the epic respective fields.

To open the related entry Details page in Planner, click the required link in the Issue Links section.

Modifying the entry metadata in Planner or Library results in the matching metadata values update in Jira.

When you delete the entry in Planner or Library, the related issue remains in Jira.

To update Jira issue details, make sure you have enough permissions. Contact your administrator for more information.
