BUTTON is a clickable component you use to trigger actions. The button component comprises a configurable text line and a target URL address.
To add this component to your item, drag BUTTON from the Components tab on the elements panel to the item layout.
To customize the button component, select it on the layout and go to its Properties tab.
The set of available properties depends on the item type you're editing.
On the Properties tab, you can do the following:
Assign the element type to classify the component in Veeva Vault.
Add or upload some text to the button. Click the button text area to activate the WYSIWYG editor.
Improve the visibility of light text in the text input area with the Dark background toggle.
The button width adjusts to its text.
Set the text line height in pixels.
Choose the button text alignment once you select the
Full widthcheckbox.Add the required link type to the button component depending on the item type. For this:
In emails, their briefs, fragments, and modules, go to the Properties tab and click the
button.In e-Detailers, landing pages and their briefs, multipage sites, and messenger ads, go to the Actions tab and select the
Open linkaction.
Select the
Full widthcheckbox to align the button with the block width. The button matching the block width has the pre-designed 20-pixel left and right paddings.Choose the button alignment.
