With the TAB GROUP
component, you can place content within the individual tabs to navigate between them when you demonstrate your e-Detailer.
To add TAB GROUP
to your e-Detailer, drag it from the Components
tab on the elements panel to the slide.
The tab group component consists of the following:
[1]: The tab bar
[2]: The tab containers
Once you add the tab group to the layout, you can set the component styling, properties, actions, and animation.
The tab group added to the layout appears in Tree. Here you can switch to the required tab in the group and see the whole component name as well as tab names and other components inner text.
To move the tab group across the slide, hold the tab bar and drag. Or set the tab group positioning with Styling.
You can edit the whole component, every tab individually, and add other components to tab containers.
To customize the tab group component:
1. Select the tab group on the layout or with Tree
.
2. Go to the Properties to set the following:
• COMPONENT NAME
: Change the tab group name.
• ORIENTATION
: Select the horizontal or vertical tab bar orientation.
• TAB LABEL
: Select whether to show the tab names on the bar. When you uncheck it, the tab names disappear in Tree
.
• TAB ICON
: Set the location of the tab icon relating to the tab names.
• TAB BAR FILL
: Set the tab bar color and transparency.
• NOT SELECTED TAB FILL
: Set color and transparency for inactive tabs.
• SELECTED TAB FILL
: Set color and transparency for the active tab.
• SELECTED TAB BORDER
: Customize color, transparency, width, and style of the active tab border.
You can modify each tab with Properties.
1. Go to the TABS
section.
2. Click +
to add a new tab to the bar.
To remove the tab, click Delete
.
To duplicate the tab, click Duplicate
.
You can duplicate the tab on the slide. Right-click the tab container and select Duplicate
in the context menu, or use the Ctrl+D shortcut. As a result, the new tab appears next to the original one, preserving all changes applied to the source tab.
3. Unfold the required tab to set the following:
• NAME
: You can either use the WYSIWYG editor or browse for the required Veeva Vault text with the Assets pop-up.
• IMAGE
: Use the Assets pop-up to browse the icon for tabs in My library, Veeva Vault, or on your device.
When the amount of tabs exceeds the bar width, the navigation arrows appear on the tab bar. Use these arrows to navigate between tabs in the PREVIEW mode.
To add components to tab containers:
1. Click the required tab on the layout or select it in Tree
.
2. Select the tab container.
3. Add components to the selected tab container.
4. Click the component added to the tab container. Edit it as usual:
