Once you've uploaded the PPT or PPTX source file from your device:
On the
Detailsstep, fill in the metadata fields.The
Target devicefield is read-only and contains the list of devices suitable for the converted item. If no devices match the aspect ratio of your PPT/PPTX file, theCustomvalue is set.Assigning metadata starts the search for the e-Detailer templates in My library.
Click
NEXT.
You're redirected to the Templating step. Here, the following scenarios of the conversion process may occur:
No matching templates. If no templates match the aspect ratio of your PPT/PPTX page dimensions, you can proceed to the next step.
Matching templates available. If templates with the matching aspect ratio for your PPT/PPTX file are available, you can choose one or use the search box to find the required template.
Only templates with a matching aspect ratio are displayed as options. The comparison is based on the width and height extracted from the PPT/PPTX file metadata upon upload. Template dimensions are similarly retrieved from the metadata of templates stored in My library.
If you select No template, the conversion process continues with no matching templates applied. As a result, the PPT/PPTX file is converted into the non-customized e-Detailer.
3. Click NEXT.
4. On the Summary step, check the conversion details and click CONVERT.
Once the e-Detailer is converted with the template applied, you can add all available template slides to its structure when editing.
