Available for e-Detailers and their briefs
SLIDER is an interactive component for adjusting values within a specified range in your e-Detailer. The slider component allows you to view and select a value from the range along a rail. You can use it to provide an intuitive way to interact with data.
To add this component to your e-Detailer, drag SLIDER from the Components tab on the elements panel to the item layout.
To customize the slider component, select it on the layout and go to its Properties tab. Here, you can customize the component in the following way:
Assign the element type to classify the component in Veeva Vault.
View and change the component name. It appears on the Tree tab of the elements panel in Editor.
Set the slider component width and height in pixels.
Change the position indicator size in pixels, and set its color and opacity.
Customize the rail color and opacity.
Select the color and opacity of the progress indicator on the rail.
Set the rail progress direction.
Fill in the
FROMandTOfields with the minimum and maximum possible values of the slider component range.Set the initial value for the rail.
Define the transition time of the rail into a new position in seconds.
Determine the interval between the slider component values.
Select the following tooltip type:
Text. Enter the text manually or upload it with the
BROWSEbutton. You can add text before and after the position indicator value.Bubble. Add the bubble text manually or upload it with the
BROWSEbutton. You can enter text before and after the position indicator value. You can also set the bubble tooltip visibility, size in pixels, placement, fill, and opacity.
Select the required checkboxes to do the following:
Deactivate the slider component on the layout.
Change the position of the indicator with a click.
Use the keyboard to navigate between the values on the rail.
Make the position indicator automatically slide to the nearest value.
Some changes applied to the slider component are visible only in the PREVIEW mode.
