The Veeva Vault assets and/or modules added to the item in Editor are linked to the resulting PDF document. The module is linked along with its assets: images, videos, and reusable texts.
After the content item publication, you can find assets in the Components section and modules in the Content modules section on the document Relationships page in Veeva Vault PromoMats.
Image assets
Images with edited texts appear in Veeva Vault PromoMats as new image documents, with original VVPM assets automatically linked in the Created From section on the Relationships page. This linkage doesn't occur if an image was added to a content item in eWizard Editor from:
Any content storage or DAM other than Veeva Vault PromoMats.
A VVPM instance different from the instance used for content item publication.
Contact your administrator to configure the following:
Linking the PDF document to its modules using the Approval Documents and/or Content Module objects.
Linking the published PDF to the Approval Documents of all added modules in the
Relationships→Related approval contentsection.Linking original VVPM assets to images with edited text.
Availability of the
ASSETSpublication step for images and the metadata fields it contains.
You can still publish your item even if the assets/modules linkage fails. To read the error message, hover the mouse over the ⚠️ sign.
