Security guidelines for eWizard users

Please read the following Security guidelines for eWizard users (hereinafter—Guidelines) before you start using eWizard.

The Guidelines contain recommendations on how to secure the use of the eWizard web platform and keep all your data protected. Although we ensure information security in the eWizard system, you are solely responsible for the consequences of actions beyond our reasonable control. Compliance with the Guidelines does not exclude your obligations as an employee or subcontractor of the organization on whose behalf you access eWizard.

The Guidelines do not give us any responsibility towards the security of your data and content, except for those warranties expressly provided in the respective written agreements.

The information security requirements for:

  1. Your password:

    1.1. Use a complex non-dictionary password.

    1.2. The minimum password length is 8 (eight) characters.

    1.3. Include upper- and lowercase letters (a-z, A-Z), at least one special character, and one digit.

    1.4. Do not use a word in any language, dialect, slang, or jargon.

    1.5. Do not include personal information (for example, date of birth).

    1.6. Store the password in a special password manager. It is not recommended to note your password on paper or in the dedicated apps on your devices.

    1.7. Apply the two-factor authentication (2FA) on the platform, if possible.

    1.8. Never share your password with employees/acquaintances/relatives and/or other third parties.

  2. Your operating system/device:

    2.1. Update your browser regularly and minimize the number of plugins used in it.

    2.2. Update your operating system and software regularly.

    2.3. Use truth-worthy antivirus software.

    2.4. Lock your computer if you are not using it temporarily.

    2.5. Beware of unfamiliar emails and messages from strangers.

Please heed the advice of your corporate information security/cybersecurity professionals, if any. Also, follow the security rules and instructions of your employer or others on whose behalf you are acting.
