In eWizard, you can work on a project together with your colleagues using the Sharing functionality. It offers the following options:
Selectively grant access to specific projects to any number of users.
Customize user roles in the project by requesting your administrator to expand/reduce the required user permissions.
Start sharing
To make your items and folders collaborative, give users access to them by assigning user roles. As a result, your items and folders become shared projects.
Your collaborators can work with the shared project only in accordance with user roles assigned to them. Moreover, they can change their user roles and share your project with new users.
When a project owner moves items/folders into a parent folder, their permissions can behave differently. It depends on whether the items/folders were previously shared or not.
Control permissions
To monitor the project permissions, you can view the user roles assigned for this project. Find the required data on the project Details page. Moreover, you can assign new users or remove active project collaborators on this page.
With the project sharing feature, you can:
Assign user roles only to a parent folder. As a result, all unshared items/folders inside this parent folder automatically inherit the same permissions.
Assign user roles to an individual item/folder inside the parent folder. As a result, these individual permissions are permanently retained despite future changes to parent folder permissions.
Once you edit user roles, reload the page to apply your changes.
